Brixtopia is a light-based branding intervention that turns Brixton’s streets into a glowing tribute to its Afro-Caribbean heritage. In response to cultural erasure caused by gentrification and displacement, the project uses projection art, curated walks, and community storytelling to transform forgotten corners into shared, emotional spaces. More than a local celebration, Brixtopia offers a global blueprint for how design can reclaim identity, inspire belonging, and spark collective memory through creativity.
